Color me disappointed, as you know, I was super excited about getting Lord of Rings on Blu-Ray, but then I realized it was only the theatrical releases and not the extended versions of the movies (What the heck!). I swear I almost cried (okay, I did shed one or two tears); but can you blame me, I mean who in their right mind would by the theatrical version when you can get the extended, that tell a more complete story closer to what goes on to in the actual books! Not me, I’m all about the extended versions and I refuse to by the new blu-ray set!
I’m waiting for the extended release, which doesn’t even have a release date yet, and the rumor is that they might not be released, them until next year, how lame is that? I swear they better have even more extra footage or it won’t be worth the wait (what I am I saying, it will so, be worth it, it’s freaking HD Lord of the Rings action I can’t wait) I just hate getting my hopes up only to get disappointed.
Anyways, as for National Lord of the Rings day, it got postpone, for obvious reasons. But just a few weeks, it’s been moved to the 24th of April, and my friends are bring their 55 inch HD TV to my place for the event, how cool is that? We are just going to make do with my 4 Disc sets being enhanced on my Blu-Ray Player. So Yay, me!
